Introduction

Cross The Ages is a blockchain trading card game and a growing RPG universe set in a world split between magic and technology. Its story, drawn from a series of novels, follows a rift-torn realm where the magical Arkhantes and the technology-driven Mantri stay locked in conflict.

Lore

The world of Cross The Ages comes from a series of novels by Arnaud Dollen, set in a realm broken by a long rivalry between two factions. The Arkhantes are masters of magic, while the Mantri champion technology, and their struggle centers on the Rift, a land scarred by a historic duel between the two powers. The narrative follows Aurelius, an outsider driven by a personal vendetta against Solis, the Arkhante queen. Much of the conflict plays out in the Appologium, an arena where champions settle scores and prove their standing. This backdrop frames the factions and characters that players collect, tying the card battles to a divided world with its own recorded history.

Gameplay

Cross The Ages spans two connected games that share cards and progression. Players build a collection of elemental cards and can carry NFT assets between the card game and the RPG, with each side rewarding a different style of play, from tactical board duels to real-time dungeon runs.

Blast (Trading Card Game)

In the card game, two players contest a 4×4 tile board by placing cards that capture the tiles around them. Every card holds a power score and elemental affinities, and the Heptagram system decides which elements beat which. Points come from captures and from matching affinities, so positioning and element matchups settle each match.

Arise (Action RPG)

Arise is a free-to-play action RPG that entered open alpha on the Epic Games Store in late 2025. Players take a fighter, builder, or strategist approach, then explore dungeons at their own pace in Exploration Mode or compete for rankings in Competition Mode, facing traps, enemies, and bosses while gathering resources.

Economy

The Cross The Ages economy runs on Solana and is built around a set of linked currencies rather than a single balance. In-game cards exist as NFTs that players mint, trade, and use across both the card game and Arise. A player marketplace handles card sales, with trading fees paid in the ecosystem token and lowered for higher VIP tiers.

• Token utility: the CTA token covers card minting, marketplace fees, and staking, and it became the sole currency for marketplace trades after the Solana move.
• Layered currencies: Trisel and Eternal Stones act as tradable tokens alongside soft currencies earned through play, feeding crafting and rewards.
• Land and staking: a newer season adds Land NFTs that players defend with card placements, while staking feeds VIP progression and periodic rewards.
