Instead of only listing every known blockchain game, the BGF Pulse 100 tracks active blockchain games, crypto games, and Web3 games that show recent public activity and visibility on X/Twitter. The BGF Pulse Score is based on original project posts, freshness, engagement, views, and follower reach.

The ranking is intended to surface games with recent public signals and make it easier to find projects that are currently active and visible, not just older projects that still appear in static directories.

How does the BGF Pulse Score work?

The BGF Pulse Score combines several X/Twitter based signals into one 0 to 100 score. These include recent original posting activity, tweet freshness, engagement relative to follower count, tweet views, average reach, and audience size. Games with no recent original posts receive a strong score penalty.

Are these the best blockchain games?

No. This list ranks games by current public activity and visibility, not by review score or overall quality. The top-ranked games can be viewed as some of the most active and visible blockchain games on X/Twitter for the current weekly ranking.

Are blockchain games, crypto games, and Web3 games the same thing?

These terms are often used together, but they are not always identical. Blockchain games usually include onchain assets, tokens, or blockchain based systems. Crypto games often focus more on tokens or rewards. Web3 games is a broader term that can include wallets, NFTs, tokens, decentralized infrastructure, or player owned assets.

Is the ranking based on market cap?

How often is the list updated?

The BGF Pulse 100 is updated weekly. Because the score is based on recent activity, rankings can change when games post more often, receive stronger engagement, gain visibility, or become inactive.

Why are retweets, replies, quotes, and pinned tweets excluded?

These are excluded to keep the ranking focused on recent original project updates rather than recycled or amplified content.

Can a smaller game rank above a larger game?

Yes. The ranking is not based only on follower count, so smaller games can rank higher when they show stronger recent activity, engagement, views, or freshness. Larger games still have some natural advantage because follower reach and audience size are part of the score, but those signals are balanced with recent activity so inactive large accounts should not rank highly only because of size.
