Story

In the world of Mystra, a planet once blessed with perfect elemental balance stood on the brink of annihilation. Its dominant species, driven by war, advanced technology, and greed, devastated the land, air, and seas.

Observing this from the enigmatic Void between realities, the six Divinities intervened. They introduced Anichess, an Aether-infused and spell-charged evolution of chess. This new system replaced violence with intellect, chaos with tactics, and brute force with strategic foresight. Chess became law, transforming Mystra into the ultimate proving ground for harmony and mastery. The complete origins are recorded in The Parchment of History.

Gameplay

Anichess fuses traditional chess with spells that replace moves and add unpredictability. The win condition is Kingslay by capturing the opponent’s king, with no traditional check or checkmate. Mana regenerates one point per turn up to a maximum of eight, powering spells such as PARKOUR MECH that permanently transforms eligible pieces into knights.

Players stake $CHECK to earn non-transferable Mate Points (M8) that unlock progression perks, boosts, and exclusive features. Ethernals are tiered collectible NFTs (limited supply) offering allocations, staking benefits, and special rewards.
