Mars4 is a 3D metaverse survival game set on a virtual Mars, where players can own, explore, and develop land plots represented as NFTs. It offers a scientifically inspired experience where players engage in resource management and survival mechanics while participating in a play-to-earn economy powered by the $MARS4 token.

Story

Set in the year 2040, Mars4 unfolds in a future where Earth faces severe crises, prompting humanity to initiate a colonization effort under the UN Joint Agreement on Mars Exploitation (UNJAM). Players take on the role of Martian settlers tasked with surviving the harsh environment of the Red Planet while working towards developing and terraforming it into a sustainable habitat.

Gameplay

Mars4 features three interconnected games, each contributing to the broader Mars metaverse experience:

• Mars4 Survival Game: A PvE survival experience where players explore a 3D recreation of Mars, gather resources, and build bases to ensure long-term survival. Players must manage their habitats and work together in cooperative gameplay to terraform and develop Mars.
• Mars Control Center (MCC): A browser-based strategy and management game where players can manage their NFT land, resources, and Mars4 token holdings. The MCC serves as a control hub where landowners can oversee their plots and participate in the in-game marketplace for trading resources and assets.
• Mars Battle: A competitive battle mode where players engage in combat, offering a more action-driven experience compared to the other two. Players can fight for resources and dominance on Mars while still being tied to the $MARS4 token economy.

The three modes work together, allowing players to transfer resources and rewards between them while focusing on different gameplay experiences within the Mars4 metaverse.

Economy

The Mars4 economy revolves around the $MARS4 token and NFT land ownership, creating a dual-layered play-to-earn system. Land plot NFTs serve as both gameplay zones and tradeable assets, while the $MARS4 token functions as the core currency for in-game transactions. Players can earn $MARS4 by extracting resources, completing objectives, and participating in the Mars Control Center (MCC) marketplace, where land and other assets can be traded. Landowners benefit from passive rewards through a community pool funded by a portion of in-game sales, while all in-game assets, including resource rights and cosmetics, are tokenized and tradeable.
