What is Sophon

Staking and Rewards

Sophon’s native token, SOPH, can be staked by gamers to earn regular rewards and support network operations. The token serves multiple purposes within the gaming ecosystem, including in-game purchases and trading on the platform’s marketplace.

A unique feature is the Staking Badges system, where airdrop recipients can earn Bronze, Silver, or Gold badges based on the percentage and amount of SOPH tokens staked. These badges are displayed on user profiles and may entitle holders to future benefits within the Sophon ecosystem.

Node Program

The Sophon Node Program allows community members to support the network by operating or delegating to Sophon Light Nodes. The initial node sale has concluded, and currently, only users who purchased during that period have node access. However, additional participation opportunities may be announced in the future.

Node operation will expand when Sophon transitions to decentralized sequencing. Full Node operators will require 1,500 Guardian NFTs and a minimum stake of 100,000 SOPH tokens. These Full Nodes will handle transaction batching and receive gas fee rewards.

Delegated stakers—any SOPH holder—can choose a Full Node to support and earn proportional rewards. Rewards are distributed after batch seals and automatically compound.

Sophon was founded in 2024, with its mainnet launching on December 18 of the same year. The project is led by founder Sebastien A. and supported by a team of experienced executives.
