Introduction

Clash of Coins is a browser-based massively multiplayer real-time strategy game focused on territorial control. Built on the Base blockchain (Ethereum Layer-2), it features on-chain token and asset integration.

The game is free-to-play and set in a world where human factions fight for dominance while an AI threat spreads across the globe. It now includes a new Agentic Gaming layer powered by the OVERRIDE AI engine.

Gameplay

The core objective is to capture, build, and defend provinces on a persistent world map. Players expand territory through real-time action, constructing strategic buildings, coordinating with allies, and engaging in both player-versus-player and AI-driven encounters.

• Virus AI acts as an autonomous PvE threat across the map.
• Grouped players share income and are immune to friendly fire.
• Seasonal resets award progress-based rewards and reset the world.

Each game world is hosted in a separate room instance, balancing large player populations across multiple environments. During Virus invasions, players must collaborate to destroy the core before the AI overcomes the map, or risk losing rewards for that session.

New: Agentic Mode
A new game format layered on top of the existing map. Players type commands in chat to deploy AI Agent Heroes that autonomously fight other players’ agents, gather resources, and compete in tournaments. You set the strategy – the agents execute everything on their own. 

Economy

Clash of Coins operates a hybrid economy using the $OWB token and on-chain game assets on the Base network. Players earn rewards through gameplay and can use $OWB to purchase in-game currency, stake for benefits, or participate in community-based events.

• A portion of shop revenue is burned, reducing token supply.
• Buildings and founder items are NFTs with gameplay functions.
• Rewards and ownership are distributed primarily to players.
• 50% of OVERRIDE AI revenue is used for $OWB buybacks.

NFTs represent in-game buildings and rare founder items, both of which can be upgraded and traded. Team token vesting is tied to project milestones, and marketplace and governance features are planned. Most of the token supply is allocated to player rewards.
