Introduction
Pixels is a free-to-play social farming MMO set across the floating landmasses of the Pixels Universe. Players run it in a web browser on the Ronin network, starting near the central hub of Terra Villa to farm, gather resources, and level a wide spread of crafting skills. The world is built around player-owned land, community activity, and open-ended progression rather than a fixed storyline.

Setting
The game unfolds in the Pixels Universe, a collection of floating landmasses connected by the Rainbow Road. Terra Villa acts as the central social hub where players gather, trade, and pick up quests before branching out to their own plots. There is no scripted campaign here; the world is shaped by the residents who own land, run farms, and build communities across the map.
Gameplay
Pixels plays from a top-down perspective in the tradition of farming life-sims. The core loop revolves around planting and harvesting crops, gathering raw materials, and running them through crafting stations to make higher-value goods. Energy, produced by harvesting, limits how much you can do in a session and pushes you to plan around it. Longer-term progression comes from leveling separate skills across many industries, completing quests around Terra Villa, and visiting other players’ farms in a shared, always-on world.
- Skill and profession depth: dozens of activities, from cooking and woodcutting to beekeeping at the Apiary and cloth-making at the Textile Mill, each with its own level track.
- Quest-driven onboarding: introductory quests point new players to crafting stations and teach the loop before they specialize.
- Shared social play: you can visit, help, or team up with others across farms, with pets among the more recent additions to daily life in the world.
Economy
The economy runs on a premium utility token on the Ronin network, used to unlock higher-tier content and speed up progression. Players spend it on VIP membership, guild access, and quality-of-life upgrades, and can stake it into game pools to earn a share of monthly $PIXEL ecosystem rewards. Routine buying and selling is handled by an off-chain currency, Coins, alongside the energy generated by farming. Token spending is split between a community treasury and a pool that recycles rewards back to players.
- Player-owned land: floating plots and numbered farm parcels along the Rainbow Road grant more space and a staking power boost.
- Tradable assets: tools, decor, pets, and avatars exist as NFTs that can be upgraded or sold.
- Marketplace access: land and NFTs change hands through the Ronin-based Sky Mavis marketplace.
