Space Nation is a space-themed MMORPG that invites players to assume the role of spaceship captains exploring the Telikos Cluster, a distant star system filled with diverse alien species and human factions. The game combines elements of survival, exploration, and combat, offering a variety of gameplay experiences.

Story

After the catastrophic destruction of their home planet, players awaken from extended hibernation to find refuge among the Parousians, descendants of humanity. As tensions rise and the threat of war looms, players must navigate this complex universe, forging alliances and uncovering the mysteries of the Telikos Cluster.

Gameplay

• Exploration: Pilot various types of spaceships, combat, exploration, and mining vessels, each with unique capabilities, to discover new planets, asteroid belts, and ancient structures.
• Combat: Engage in battles against interstellar pirates and alien marauders using a range of weapon systems, from laser generators to rail guns. The game features both PvE and PvP combat scenarios, allowing players to test their skills against AI opponents and other players.
• Resource Management: Participate in mining, production, and trading activities. Mine raw materials from space, produce equipment and ships, and trade goods in a player-driven economy.
• Missions and Quests: Complete a variety of main and side quests that advance the central storyline and offer opportunities for character development and resource acquisition.

Economy

Space Nation integrates a player-driven economy supported by blockchain technology. CHR is the primary in-game currency, earned through activities like mining, combat, and trading. Players use CHR to maintain and upgrade ships, purchase equipment, and hire crew members. It is essential for participating in the game’s core economic activities, including crafting and marketplace transactions.

The game also features OIK, the ecosystem token for the broader Space Nation series, though it is not yet available. With a capped supply of 1 billion, OIK will unlock gradually over 10 years. While OIK is not used directly within Space Nation Online, it serves as the active currency for the Space Nation Marketplace and DAO governance. OIK enables players to purchase NFTs, stake for veOIK governance credentials, and access exclusive benefits such as airdrops, early access to new projects, and special privileges in subsidiary games. Rewards are distributed through a proof-of-achievement mechanism, ensuring fairness and incentivizing player engagement across the ecosystem.
