World of Dypians (WoD) is a massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) built by the Dypius team. It is currently in closed beta and available on the Epic Games Store. It is designed as a metaverse that combines AI, graphics, and features bridging Web2 and Web3. It provides experiences for players, businesses, and creators.

Story

Set in the World of Dypians, a realm of great economic strength, warriors compete for glory through battles and quests. However, their world faces a new challenge when the Dark Lord and his massive army arrive from 62 million light-years away. To survive this existential threat, warriors must unite to defend their homeland. Players can choose from a variety of heroes with unique abilities as they confront the Dark Forces and navigate the interconnected metaverse ecosystem.

Gameplay

WOD features three main modes:

1. Campaign: Progressive gameplay with increasingly challenging maps, resource gathering, boss battles, and forging materials.
2. Multiplayer: Cooperative and competitive modes including clan wars, co-op missions, PvP tournaments, and a global leaderboard system.
3. Open World: A vast 2,000 km² world divided into land parcels for exploration, quests, and building businesses. Landowners can customize and rent their areas to other players. Weekly events and daily challenges such as Treasure Hunts and Single Strike challenge players to defeat bosses for leaderboard rewards, encouraging teamwork and strategic gameplay.

The game also offers a sandbox mode for creativity, enabling players to craft structures, personalize their environment, and display their creations.

Economy

Some challenges and events require Beta Pass NFTs to participate. This system incentivizes regular engagement, exploration, and competition within the metaverse, while aligning with the decentralized economy of the game.
