World of Dypians

Introduction

World of Dypians is an open-world MMORPG developed by Dypius, set in a metaverse where players control heroes defending their homeland from an invading dark army. The game is free to download on the Epic Games Store, currently in beta, and playable on Windows. Its blockchain layer runs across several networks, including BNB Chain, Base, Ethereum, and Sei.

Lore

The World of Dypians is a prosperous realm where warriors have long earned renown through battle and quests. That stability breaks when the Dark Lord arrives with a vast army from 62 million light-years away, threatening the survival of the entire world. Facing an enemy far beyond anything they have known, the scattered warriors set aside their rivalries and unite in defense of their homeland.

Players enter this conflict by choosing heroes with distinct abilities, each suited to a different role on the battlefield. As they push back the dark forces, they move through an interconnected metaverse that ties cities, wilderness, and player-built areas into one continuous world.

Gameplay

Play centers on three connected modes. The Campaign moves through progressively harder maps built around resource gathering, boss fights, and crafting materials for better gear. Multiplayer brings players together for co-op missions, clan wars, PvP tournaments, and a global leaderboard. The Open World is a large explorable map split into land parcels where players quest, build, and run in-game businesses. A separate sandbox mode lets players design and display their own structures, and weekly events and daily challenges keep the world busy between story chapters.

Economy

A native token underpins the economy and moves value across the game’s supported chains. Land is held as NFTs, split into parcels across five tiers that owners can trade, develop, or rent to other players. Beta Pass NFTs, including partner editions, unlock exclusive events and treasure hunts. Players earn token rewards through quests, events, and competitions, and those rewards are tradable through the in-game marketplace and shop.
