Axie Infinity is a collectible game where you raise, breed, and battle pet fantasy creatures called Axies. Axies come in many forms, they have animal genes and can look like cats, birds, fish, Dragons, or plants. Players can interact and upgrade their Axies through games and contests. Axie Infinity uses the Ethereum Blockchain, so Players have complete ownership of their Axie pets and can trade and sell them securely.
Players can create teams of Axies and compete in competitive battles and tournaments. Furthermore, sponsored events will reward winners of different competitions with unique prizes. Axies fight in 3 vs. 3 battles, players can arrange the formation of their Axies, taking into account each Axie’s strengths and weaknesses and their attack moves.
Axies start as Eggs, which later hatch into Larvae. After a bit of care, Larvae evolve into Petite Axies and, finally, Adult Axies. They live in distinctive 6×6 block homes called Terrariums. Terrariums is an upcoming update that will grant your Axies different bonuses and allow them to stock unique items. More upcoming features include story mode, item crafting, and earning crypto rewards for taking good care of your Axie.
