Introduction

Alien Worlds is a sci-fi strategy game set in a metaverse of resource-rich planets, developed by Dacoco GmbH. It runs across the WAX, BNB Smart Chain, and Ethereum networks and is free to play in the browser, where explorers mine the mineral Trilium, send out missions, and vote in planetary governance. Six worlds, each run as its own decentralized organization, form the galaxy players compete over.

Setting

Alien Worlds unfolds in a distant galaxy built around Trilium, the mineral that powers exploration and progress. Six planets, Eyeke, Naron, Magor, Neri, Kavian, and Veles, anchor the metaverse, each operating as a self-governing organization with its own treasury and elected custodians. A seventh location, Planet B, sits on BNB Smart Chain and hosts missions rather than land. The framing is competitive colonization rather than a scripted story.

Gameplay

Alien Worlds combines resource extraction, exploration, and player governance. The aim is to build standing across the six planets by gathering Trilium and the NFT gear that speeds it up, then turning that standing into a say over how each world is run. Play spreads across several loosely linked modes, so a session can be a quick tool check or a longer strategic push.

  • Mining and lands: Equip tool NFTs and work land plots on timed charges, choosing plots by their reward and refill multipliers.
  • Missions: Lease spacecraft on BNB Smart Chain and send up to five ships per mission to complete objectives.
  • Battledome combat: A last-player-standing PvP mode for up to 20 players fielding Avatar, Minion, and Weapon NFTs.

Economy

The economy runs on Trilium, a utility token earned through mining, missions, and combat and spent on leasing spacecraft, staking, and governance. NFTs hold most of the value: tools, weapons, minions, avatars, and land plots are all tradable and shape how efficiently a player earns. Trilium moves between the WAX and BNB chains through an in-game teleport and also exists as an Ethereum asset.

  • Land ownership: Plot holders collect a share of the Trilium mined by others working their land.
  • Staking and governance: Locked Trilium grants voting power in each planet’s decentralized organization, electing custodians who direct its treasury.
  • Marketplace: NFT tools, land, and cosmetics trade on AtomicHub on the WAX chain.
