Intro

DeFi Kingdoms is a blockchain-based fantasy MMORPG blending DeFi mechanics with immersive gameplay. Built on Harmony and bridging to Avalanche and Klaytn, it features a robust economy powered by JEWEL tokens and an evolving narrative in the land of Gaia.

Story

Set in the fractured world of Gaia, torn apart by divine wrath during the Age of Progression, players embark on a journey of restoration and heroism in the Age of Heroes. Following the devastation wrought by Irae, the God of Renewal, the continents are reconnecting after millennia of separation. Heroes, summoned from the mystical Inner Grove using Gaia’s Tears and JEWEL-powered crystals, protect their kingdoms from corrupted monsters and invaders. The lore weaves a rich tapestry of divine interventions, ancient rituals, and the revival of harmony.

Gameplay

DeFi Kingdoms combines RPG mechanics with economic strategy in a blockchain-based ecosystem. Players summon heroes through rituals using Gaia’s Tears and JEWEL, cultivating their skills to engage in adventures, quests, and battles. In the Duels mode, players test their heroes’ strength in competitive PvP matches, while PvE elements include exploring the kingdom, battling monsters, and completing quests to earn rewards.

Beyond JEWEL, the game also employs JADE for Serendale on Klaytn and CRYSTAL for Crystalvale on the DFK Chain (Avalanche subnet) designed for DeFi Kingdoms, offering low transaction fees and high throughput specifically for game activities. Each acts as a realm-specific Power Token for local transactions, liquidity provision, and earning through their respective Gardens.
