Introduction
Fusionist is a sci-fi Web3 game built around squads of five mechs, tying together tactical combat, resource management, and faction strategy across one shared galaxy. It runs on the Endurance Chain, an EVM network built by the project, and is free to play on Steam and the Epic Games Store while in Early Access. The story follows humanity’s descendants, the Fusionists, as they rebuild across alien worlds after Earth’s collapse.
Lore
In the year 2800, Earth has collapsed under environmental ruin and war, leaving humanity close to extinction. Survivors merge their minds with artificial intelligence to become the Fusionists, then set out through hyperspace to find and settle new worlds. Their purpose is to carry human DNA forward across a galaxy of scarce resources and rival factions, colonizing distant planets along the way. The setting leans on survival and adaptation: jagged, mineral-rich planets sit under crimson skies, each holding both promise and danger. That backdrop frames every mode, from the colonies players build to the battles and territorial contests fought over the same worlds.
Gameplay
Fusionist connects three modes that share resources, mechs, and a single galactic map, so progress in one is meant to feed the others rather than stand alone.
Conquer
Conquer is turn-based tactical combat where you field a squad of five mechs drawn from distinct roles such as Striker, Defender, Buster, Sniper, and Support. Each mech slots a Core that changes how it fights, and chaining elemental effects like freeze, burn, and shock drives crowd control and damage across PvP duels and PvE missions.
- Core system reshapes how each mech behaves in battle.
- Elemental chains reward planning freeze, burn, and shock combos.
- Five mech roles push squad composition and counterplay.
Colonize
Colonize is the simulation layer, where players gather six resources such as titanium and hydrogen, run production and research lines, and manufacture the mechs used across the ecosystem. Resources and finished units can be traded between players and moved into the other modes.
Unite
Unite is a 4X-style strategy layer that ties the modes together on a shared map, with players claiming territory, competing for resources, and governing planets as factions.
Economy
The economy runs on the Endurance Chain, where the ecosystem token covers network fees, staking, and rewards and is gradually burned to reduce supply. NFTs anchor much of the play: planet NFTs in Colonize carry traits such as mineral wealth and climate that shape resource output, while mechs are tradable assets crafted in one mode and fought with in another. Most trade flows through the Galactic Marketplace, where players buy and sell resources and finished units, with a separate in-game currency handling routine transactions. Earning is tied to active play, trading, and event participation rather than passive holding.
- Planet NFTs shape each colony’s output through their traits.
- ACE token covers fees, staking, and ecosystem rewards.
- Galactic Marketplace moves resources and mechs between players.
