Introduction
Immortal Rising 2 is a dark fantasy idle RPG from studio Bad Beans, published by Planetarium Labs and built on the Immutable zkEVM chain. It runs free-to-play on Android and iOS, blending offline idle progression with hands-on real-time 3D combat. Players lead resurrected warriors called Immortals in a world overrun by demons.
Lore
Immortal Rising 2 unfolds in a fractured world thrown into chaos by the Seven Demons, whose corruption has spread across once peaceful lands. To push back the darkness, ancient warriors known as Immortals are resurrected and sent to reclaim what was lost. Players guide these revived champions through blighted regions such as the Silent Woods, the Dunes of Despair, and the Forbidden Swampland, each held by the forces of decay. The struggle centers on awakening immortal power and uniting to save a corrupted world from being consumed. Its gothic, high-contrast art leans into the standoff between resurrected light and encroaching evil, casting every campaign as another step in taking back the ground the demons seized.
Gameplay
The goal is to defeat the Seven Demons by leveling a roster of Immortals through stages, dungeons, and boss fights. Progression is part idle and part active: heroes keep battling on their own while the app is closed, and hands-on sessions add real-time 3D combat. Play spans PvE campaigns, daily missions, and competitive Guild Wars where guilds contest territory.
- Skill building: pairing one of four weapons (Sword, Bow, Shield, Spear) with a magic school such as Fire, Frost, Dash, or Thunder feeds an Ultimate Skill Combo system with millions of combinations.
- Idle progression: Immortals keep fighting and gathering resources even while a player is offline.
- Dungeon runs: instances such as the Cursed Armory drop materials used to upgrade gear.
Economy
Immortal Rising 2 runs a layered economy around a governance token and two in-game currencies. IMT is tradeable, can be staked on-chain, and gives holders a vote on major game policies. Starlight is the high-value reward currency, earned through staking and competitive play, and it converts into IMT at dynamic rates or into Stardust at a fixed one-to-one rate. Stardust then powers character progression through crafting and summoning.
- Star Vault: staking Starlight grants combat power and HP buffs on top of rewards.
- NFT crafting: Starlight forges Mercenary and Land NFTs that carry into gameplay.
- Stardust sink: it crafts U-Grade items and summons special gear, but cannot revert to Starlight once converted.
