Introduction
Kaidro: Clan Battles is an upcoming near-isometric multiplayer action RPG and shooter in the world of Kaidro: The Awakening, where pilots use Spark-Suits to confront rivals and the Void. Built by Kaidro LLC and Gadget-Bot Inc for Windows, it is listed as free-to-play on Steam, where a demo is available while the full release remains coming soon. Lore
Tal’Jor is a post-apocalyptic world where technology and spirituality collide, and its factions compete for resources. Fractures are allowing the Void to bleed from the Astral Realm into the physical world, releasing dangerous creatures. The player’s pilot is recruited as a bounty hunter by the Blackflynt Upper City to help close those fractures, while the ability to channel demi-Kaidro power makes the pilot valuable to rival groups. Clans including Grimbone, Bubblegum Violence, Emerald Hand, and Freewrist offer different allegiances, and a relic connects the pilot to a Spirit Guardian that grants astral abilities.
Gameplay
Combat combines near-isometric shooting with action RPG progression. Players assemble a Spark-Suit from light, medium, or heavy chassis, then combine parts, weapons, mech abilities, a Spirit Guardian, and astral abilities. Public tests have featured Bounty Hunt, a 3v3v3 competitive mode, and Temple Sentinel, a four-player PvE run through enemy waves and a final boss.
- Three chassis: Light builds favor rapid attacks, medium suits cover a balanced role, and heavy frames hold ground.
- Clan identity: Spark-Suit choices and clan allegiance affect how pilots present themselves in battle.
- World interactions: Characters such as Tank, Bella, Jazz, and Ember provide contacts beyond the arena.
Economy
Kaidro’s on-chain layer runs on Ronin. Its ecosystem token launched in December 2024 and is used for Synergy lock-ups, merchandise, and NFT purchases, while the project’s published plans also assign it to Battle Passes and exclusive in-game gear. The NFT collections cover Spark-Suits, Spirit Guardians, Pilots, and Journals; public tests have let players use owned Spirit Guardians as functional skins with abilities, buffs, and status effects.
- Community allocation: Thirty-five percent of the token supply is reserved for airdrops, in-game rewards, holder claims, contests, and tournaments.
- Marketplace assets: Official Spark-Suit and Spirit Guardian collections trade through Ronin Market.
