Today at approximately 9:30 AM Eastern Time, the Community Claim contract at claim.kuroro.com was compromised, leading to the theft of the remaining 10% of its supply. Of the total 25% Community Allocation, 15% had already been claimed prior to this incident. The hacker, associated with a North Korean message, executed a single transaction to drain the funds, totaling around $20,000. In response to the hack, the team has initiated a buy-back of $25,000 worth of KURO and is investigating how the breach occurred. A new Claim will be reinstated, maintaining the same 10% supply for players who have not yet claimed. Moving forward, the plan includes continuing buy-backs, launching a new game soon, integrating additional KURO use cases, and using revenue from games to benefit the token. The focus will be on the community members who believe and hold KURO.
