Introduction
Lumiterra: Embers of the Legacy is a multiplayer, open-world survival crafting MMORPG developed by Ticker Logic Studio. Its live Survival Season runs on the Monad blockchain, where players battle, farm, gather, and craft across a shared fantasy continent while a personal AI companion learns each player’s style. The game is free to start and playable in the browser or as a downloadable Windows and macOS client, having moved from an earlier closed beta on Ronin to a fully on-chain Monad season.
Lore
Lumiterra: Embers of the Legacy takes place on a broad fantasy continent that players explore, settle, and defend together. Survival crafting sits at the center of the world, where gathering resources, farming land, taming wild creatures, and building settlements shape how each region develops over a season.
Players commit to a path such as warrior, mage, assassin, or healer, then work through a main questline alongside cooperative side quests and alliance-driven territory fights. The wider narrative is still being filled in, with the studio and its community expanding the world through ongoing chapters, new characters, and a community comic series.
Gameplay
In Lumiterra players survive and progress in real time by choosing among combat, gathering, and farming professions. Actions from harvesting crops to mining ore to fighting monsters draw on an energy and stamina pool, so each session rewards planning, better crafted equipment, and tamed creatures that fight in battle or help on the farm.
- Class and skill paths: combat can be played as a warrior, mage, assassin, or healer, each with its own skill tree beside the gathering and farming lines.
- AI companion: a personal agent learns how a player fights, gathers, and explores, then grows into a long-term account asset.
- Group content: team dungeon raids, open-world PvP, escort events, and shared world bosses reward coordinated play.
Economy
The Survival Season economy is fully on-chain, and item progression carries between phases instead of resetting each season. Its main currency is minted one-to-one when players deposit MON, then spent on marketplace trades, crafting, and in-game costs, while crafted gear and materials can be converted into that token or into reward items through the in-game conversion system.
- Staking and rewards: a Merkl reward pool pays out $LVMON for gameplay achievements, and staked value has grown steadily.
- Monad settlement: the token can be swapped back toward MON, tying in-game earnings to the wider Monad network.
- Agents that earn: companion agents can be set to stake and act for a player, extending earning beyond active play.
