Introduction

Sorare is a blockchain fantasy sports game where players collect officially licensed digital cards of football, NBA, and MLB athletes. Users build lineups and compete in contests scored by real-world athlete performance. Cards fully migrated to Solana in late 2025 for faster trading and expanded utility.

Setting

Players act as managers collecting and trading cards of real athletes across professional leagues. Competitions reflect ongoing football, NBA, and MLB seasons with seasonal sets and special events. Focus remains on strategic ownership and real-time sports integration.

Gameplay

Build 5-player lineups for football and NBA or 7-player for MLB, then enter Hot Streaks, Leaderboards, or new Sorare Sets/Common contests. Scoring is based on actual athlete stats; earn Essence and Gems for crafting or daily packs. 2026 updates include simplified MLB structure and new dedicated leagues.

Economy
