Introduction
Treeverse is a free-to-play, top-down MMORPG from Endless Clouds, built on Immutable zkEVM and playable on Windows, Android, and iOS. Set in the fantasy world of Arboros, it uses a classless system where the weapon a player equips defines their role across cooperative exploration and combat. The game launched in 2025 with its first season and $END token, then moved to a rolling monthly content schedule, with a full Season 2 rebuild arriving in early 2026.
Lore
The story takes place in Arboros, a continent once sustained by the magic of the World Tree and now unsettled as that magic fades and corruption creeps across the land. Players begin in Lorwick, the central city and the safest foothold in a wilderness populated by mythical beings such as Jovians and Sidhe.
Beyond the city walls lie the remains of older civilizations, along with clues about the World Tree’s decline and the forces pulling at it. The setting pairs colorful, illustrated environments with a quieter theme of survival against ancient, half-understood powers, and the long journey toward the World Tree frames much of what players set out to do.
Gameplay
Treeverse is built around open-world exploration and real-time, skill-based combat, where the weapon a player carries sets their role instead of a fixed class. Players dodge, reposition, and swap weapons to counter different enemies, and the loop moves between cooperative dungeon runs, open-world PvE, and competitive encounters. The Season 2 rebuild reworked combat, quests, items, and the map, and shifted the game onto a monthly update cadence.
- Classless progression: weapons such as bows, greatswords, staffs, and hammers define a character’s abilities, with a Talent Tree players shape toward combat, gathering, or crafting.
- Timing-driven combat: stamina does not refill on its own, so landing hits is what restores the energy needed for skills and the newer charged abilities.
- Gather and craft: slaying monsters for shards and collecting raw materials feeds a crafting chain that turns blueprints into stronger equipment.
Economy
The in-game economy runs on a premium ecosystem currency alongside a set of player-owned assets. That currency covers cosmetics, event access, and other in-game features, and it also carries governance rights over how the game is run. Players earn it through seasonal reward campaigns tied to quests and competition, and can trade crafted gear, materials, and gathered resources on the marketplace.
- NFT assets: the main collections are Treeverse Plots for land, Timeless avatars for identity, and NFTrees, which generate fruit that buffs characters and can be sold.
- Token utility: the $END token, live on Immutable zkEVM, is the premium currency and governance layer across Endless Clouds titles.
- Platform limits: NFT features run on Windows and Android, while the iOS build follows App Store rules that keep NFTs off that version.
