Editor’s Take
The Epic Era is now active in Axie Origins Season 15 and the reward structure is clear. More than 21,000 AXS is allocated to the competitive leaderboard, limited to the top 2,000 finishers. In parallel, a separate 10,000 AXS pool is tied to collectible Axies for players who complete the era at Dragon rank or higher. Full background on the game is available in the Axie Infinity overview.
This creates two parallel reward paths. Competitive players focus on rank progression, while collectible holders gain value through chest rewards that depend on era placement and Axie rarity. Daily check-ins add another consistent source of progression, with collectible Axies generating higher point yields than regular Axies. The season’s event details were published in the official announcement here.
What’s Actually Happening
Epic Era leaderboard rewards
The Epic Era launched on 12 November 2025. Rewards are paid in mAXS, where 1,000 mAXS equals 1 AXS. The top 2,000 players share 30 percent of Season 15’s total reward pool. The detailed breakdown comes from the official reward infographic.
- Rank 1: 437,400 mAXS (437.4 AXS)
- Rank 2: 374,220 mAXS (374.22 AXS)
- Rank 10: 115,425 mAXS (115.425 AXS)
- Ranks 851 to 1,300: 4,815 mAXS each (4.815 AXS)
- Ranks 1,301 to 2,000: 3,210 mAXS each (3.21 AXS)
Collectible chest rewards
Collectible Axie holders can earn additional rewards through Collectible Chests. To qualify, a player must hold a collectible Axie throughout the entire Epic Era and finish the era at Dragon rank or higher. These chests contain tickets that can be redeemed for AXS. Ticket ranges are based on the collectible tier, as shown in the official Season 15 reward graphic.
- Tier 1 Mystic: 12,800 to 80,000 tickets
- Tier 2 Origin: 3,200 to 20,000 tickets
- Tier 3 MEO or MEO II: 1,280 to 8,000 tickets
- Tier 4 Xmas: 1,025 to 6,400 tickets
- Tier 5 Shiny: 1,025 to 6,400 tickets
- Tier 6 Japanese: 385 to 2,400 tickets
- Tier 7 Nightmare: 105 to 600 tickets
- Tier 8 Summer: 35 to 200 tickets
Each ticket represents a share in the 10,000 AXS pool allocated for collectible rewards.
Leaderboard bonus rewards
In addition to AXS, bonus rewards extend down to rank 30,000. These include:
- Runes
- Charms
- Crafting materials
Quantities scale with rank tiers and follow the Rare Era pattern, as detailed in the official leaderboard bonus table.
Axie check-in feature
The Axie Check-In feature grants daily points that can be exchanged in the in-game shop. Players redeem these points for items such as Runes, Charm Boxes, and crafting materials. Collectible Axies generate significantly more points than regular Axies, creating additional value for players who check in consistently throughout the era.
Why This Matters
The Epic Era divides its incentives across performance, collection value, and daily engagement. Leaderboard rewards focus on consistent competitive results and are limited to the top 2,000 players. The separate 10,000 AXS collectible pool assigns concrete value to high-rarity Axies for players who maintain both ownership and rank.
Daily check-ins reinforce long-term participation, while bonus rewards up to rank 30,000 give most active players steady progression. Across the era, more than 31,000 AXS enters the community when combining the leaderboard pool and the collectible chest pool. Publishing rewards in mAXS gives players clear, exact figures for each rank and supports transparent tracking of expected payouts.
Our Verdict
The Season 15 Epic Era presents a clear reward framework. More than 21,000 AXS is allocated to the competitive leaderboard, while a 10,000 AXS collectible pool links rewards to Axie rarity and Dragon rank finishes. Daily check-ins and wide bonus tiers support ongoing participation across the ladder and keep both ranked players and collectible holders engaged throughout the era.
