The development team has been building a new server deployment and orchestration service to address compatibility issues with Unity’s newer glibc version and AWS Linux images. They’ve opted for an Ubuntu image to resolve these issues, allowing the servers to operate fully. Currently, deployment is done manually using Docker via ECS, while planning to automate the process with AWS Image Builder. The upcoming steps include integrating with the CICD system and implementing a payment system. Input is requested for designing a gameplay mechanic for the sawmill.
