Introduction

Fableborne is a mobile action RPG with base-building strategy from Pixion Games, running on the Ronin blockchain after earlier stints on other networks. The core is short, competitive sessions: players raid rival kingdoms in fast isometric combat, then fortify their own island stronghold so it can defend itself while they are away. It uses a free-to-play, play-to-own model built around the POWER token, and reached global open beta in late 2025.

Lore

Fableborne unfolds in the Shatterlands, a world torn apart by a great calamity. When the underworld trembled, portals opened and imprisoned the ruling Council, and the leaders’ magic was ripped away and twisted into a raw arcane force. The land fractured, its surviving pieces rising as floating islands charged with elemental energy. Players awaken as the Fableborne, champions of this remade world, and step into the struggle between the kingdoms that now fight to control the loose surges of magic. Whoever masters that power decides what the New World becomes.

Gameplay

Fableborne blends action combat with base-building strategy across asynchronous multiplayer. Players fortify an island kingdom, arrange its defenses, and raid rival kingdoms in real-time isometric battles that reward manual dodging and well-timed strikes. Each hero carries a distinct kit, and match results feed seasonal ladders that reset with fresh content and rewards.

• Ascendancy progression: heroes climb power tiers to unlock stronger abilities and higher-level content.
• Guild Wars: up to 50 players group into guilds and earn shared glory through cooperative events.

Economy

Fableborne layers a play-to-own economy over a free game. The in-game token handles premium purchases, event entry, and staking, and players earn it back through competitive play and seasonal reward pools funded from game revenue. Land takes the form of Kingdom NFTs, which players own, trade on Ronin’s marketplace, and stake for yield, with rarer plots paying out more.
