Launched April 6, 2026 – The Codex is now a lore-driven battle pass with three independent Mini Paths focused on the origins, use, and corruption of Spirit Clay. Players can progress the free path for lore and Bounty Points, or buy Premier Paths with bAXS for exclusive rewards, new perks, and Spirit Clay – the new currency used at the Black Kiln. This season adds enhanced daily quests, three community contests with bAXS prizes, and carry-over support for Season 0 Codex Orbs.
What Happening
- The Codex now has three separate 20-level Mini Paths that can be progressed in any order: Kei and the First Golem, The Golems of War, and The Black Kiln.
- Each path has its own mini-story about the discovery of Spirit Clay, its use in defending Lunacia, and the consequences of its corruption.
- Premier Path unlocks exclusive accessories, seasonal backgrounds, bAXS rewards, and Spirit Clay that can be spent at the Black Kiln for bAXS and rare-to-mystic accessories.
- Fortune Slips can be converted into Spirit Clay at a rate of 100:1.
- Premier Path users get free rerolls, an extra quest slot, and higher chances of Master Quests.
- Completing all three Premier Paths awards the S1 Codex Orb.
- Season 0 Codex Orbs can be used (one per account) to instantly complete any one purchased Premier Path.
- The Black Kiln lets you spend 4 Spirit Clay per spin for bAXS and limited-edition accessories (Rare to Mystic).
Dates and Rollout
- Season 1 launched on April 6, 2026 and runs for 8 weeks.
- Paths can be purchased at any time during the season.
- The Black Kiln stays open for 3 days after the season ends to spend remaining Spirit Clay.
- Forged in Clay community campaigns run throughout the season.
- Race to S1 Codex Orb and Guide Creator Contest run for the full season.
Numbers and Rules
- Each Mini Path costs 4 bAXS for Premier; all three paths cost 12 bAXS as a bundle.
- Each Mini Path has 20 levels and 3 lore segments.
- Up to 40 Spirit Clay can be earned per completed Mini Path.
- Forged in Clay contest has a 7,000 bAXS prize pool across Mini Path Milestones.
- Race to S1 Codex Orb awards bAXS to the first 50 players who complete all three paths (1st place gets 300 bAXS).
- Codex S1 Guide Creator Contest offers up to 120 bAXS plus Spirit Clay for the best beginner guides.
- Spirit Clay does not carry over and expires at the end of Season 1.
