Cambria has set an August launch for $RSGP, the token behind its onchain game economy, and is running two airdrops in the lead-up. The first, a Loot Drop, sends Loot Chests of $RSGP whose size scales with a degen score drawn from a player’s onchain trading history. A separate Genesis Airdrop rewards Points earned across the Cambria ecosystem. Gold Rush Season 4, the studio’s seasonal risk-to-earn MMO, launches around the token generation event.
What Changed
- $RSGP will launch in August as the ownership layer of Cambria’s economy, used for treasury governance, rewards, and ve-style staking that unlocks fee reductions, guild advantages, in-game polling, and cosmetics.
- The Loot Drop airdrops Loot Chests, called Care Packages, filled with $RSGP that is revealed at the token generation event.
- A separate Genesis Airdrop awards $RSGP based solely on Points earned by engaging with parts of the ecosystem, from playing Dungeons to inviting players and Bar Games such as Gizmo’s Folly, Pit Fights, and Duel Arena.
- Gold Rush Season 4, an extract-or-die MMO inspired by RuneScape and Albion Online, launches around the token event.
Dates and Rollout
- $RSGP launches in August.
- Loot Drop winners have 14 days to sign and claim after checking their winnings.
- The Genesis Airdrop window runs over the coming weeks ahead of the token event.
- Gold Rush Season 4 launches around the token generation event.
Numbers and Rules
- Care Package size scales with a degen score measured across Solana trading in memecoins, DeFi, and prediction markets, Polymarket activity, multi-chain risk-taking in perps, options, and NFT trading, time-weighted holdings, and community participation.
- Loot Drop claims are invite-gated; players active in the ecosystem without an invite are pointed to the Cambria Discord.
- The Genesis Airdrop is awarded solely on Points, earned through actions such as playing Dungeons, inviting new players, catching Rare Fish in the Lobby, and claiming a Gold Rush Season 4 spot.
