What Changed
- Open world multiplayer is now live, allowing players to encounter other Wilders running routes, hitting Breaches, and moving through the same city intersections in real time.
- Team Breach events scale with squad size for increased loot. Forum blockades restrict routes and Forum Agents patrol intersections between Breaches.
- City Storage and the Bank have been added to Wiami. City Storage will house the master inventory; the Bank ATM converts scavenged in-game WILD tokens into onchain WILD.
- Voice chat is live in the open world. Positional/proximity voice is in progress.
- Vehicles now deal damage to enemies. Forum Agents react by chasing and firing on damaged cars.
- Day and night cycle now randomizes between sessions with synced state for the squad.
- At-risk gameplay: death results in loss of equipped loadout, session WILD, and gear.
Dates and Rollout
- Open World multiplayer is live now.
- Full City Storage and Bank functionality (interiors + ATM) arrives in the next release.
- Steam launch is planned later this year with performance optimization ahead of it.
What’s Next
- Full core gameplay loop: backpack inventory, extraction at Neural Station, player-to-player Bodega Market trading.
- Proximity voice chat, expanded audio cues, continuous dynamic day/night cycle, and map expansion.
