Illuvium’s assets and core services are migrating to the Immutable zkEVM network, enhancing scalability and simplifying collections. This significant change is scheduled for completion by late January 2025. During the migration, unique assets like Illuvials and Land will remain ERC-721 tokens, while most other items will convert to ERC-1155, enabling more efficient inventory management. Marketplace listings on the current chain will be cleared, requiring re-listing post-migration. Although some features will be temporarily unavailable, players’ assets will migrate automatically, ensuring security and continuity. This upgrade prepares Illuvium for future ecosystem features.
