MapleStory Universe Has Launched MSU Space With $60,000 Builder Competition

MapleStory Universe has launched MSU Space, a dedicated builder hub on the Verse8 platform that allows creators to develop and publish games using official MapleStory IP assets, including characters, monsters, items, environments, and lore. To mark the launch, Verse8 and MapleStory Universe are running MapleStory Vibe Camp, a global builder competition offering a total prize pool of $60,000 in NXPC tokens, with submissions open from June 8 through June 29, 2026.

• MSU Space is now live on Verse8 as a dedicated zone where builders can access official MapleStory Universe IP to create and publish games.
• Builders can use the MSU MCP tool to pull official MSU resources directly into their projects.
• The platform includes Agent8, an AI coding agent that generates and iterates on games based on natural language descriptions.
• Builders who link an MSU Builder account to Verse8 receive unlimited builder credits during the Vibe Camp period.
• Publishing a game alone does not constitute a valid competition entry. Builders must also complete a separate official submission form before the deadline.
• MapleStory Universe was cited as having surpassed 150 million on-chain transactions after one year of live operations, providing context for the MSU 2.0 direction.

• The build and submission period opens June 8, 2026 at 06:00 UTC and closes June 29, 2026 at 06:00 UTC.
• Winners will be announced on July 22, 2026.

Numbers and Rules

• The total prize pool is $60,000 USD in value, distributed in NXPC tokens.
• The Campfire award goes to five winners whose submissions retain players and deepen in-game engagement, at $3,000 per winner.
• The Base Camp award goes to two winners whose submissions serve as useful references for other builders, at $2,000 per winner.
• The Summoner award is a single $2,000 prize for the submission that drives the most external traffic to the platform.
• The Top Traffic Games award goes to 50 winners demonstrating strong inflow and retention performance, at $500 per winner.
• The True Camper award carries an aggregate prize of $14,000, with the number of winners to be disclosed by Verse8.
• NXPC prizes cannot be distributed to participants in the United States, UAE, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, Ukraine including Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions, Libya, Myanmar, and Sudan.
• Rewards for winning team entries are distributed to the designated team representative who completes KYC verification.
