New players entering the season can also read our The Beacon beginner guide, which explains how to start, where to find dungeons, how stamina works, and how Umbra Shards, Gobloonz, chests, and Premium access connect.
What Changed
- Season 1 introduces Kraken Klash, a prediction-based board game layered on top of the core dungeon loop.
- Players can follow two reward paths: run dungeons for steady Umbra Chest rewards or convert Umbra Shards into Gobloonz to play Kraken Klash for higher-risk, higher-reward gameplay.
- The full gameplay loop is free to play. Premium Access unlocks NFT cosmetics, a larger share of the $BCN reward pool, and expanded stamina options.
- A new set of exclusive cosmetics, including some of the rarest items released so far, are available only during Season 1.
- Dungeon difficulty starts lower for the first few days before increasing. Zone 2 with longer and harder dungeons arrives mid-week.
